• Handles all incoming telephone enquiries effectively.
• Assists with Opera inputs.
• To make sound decisions within parameters (eg. Extend late check outs, arrange VIP treatments, etc.).
• Support to 3 to 4 managers to satisfy clients' needs and to ensure all business enquiries are turned definite.
• Generate reports as and when required.
• Assist with any other sales and Reservation support projects & duties as requested.
• Assist other managers in the absence of other administrators.
• Inform guests of the services and accommodation rates in the hotel make reservations for guests according to their needs.
• Attend to all routes of room bookings, such as online, phone, and in person, to ensure that reservations are not left hanging but attended to promptly to keep the hotel business running.
• To ensure that every booking made by a travel agent contains the relevant travel agent name.
• Responsible for ensuring that each new travel agent utilizing the reservations system has relevant information recorded on a New Travel Agent Master Form and passed to Finance, Front Office and Reservations Manager for approval
• Responsible for ensuring that all reservation filing and correspondence is carried out daily.
• Receives processes and confirms all rooms reservations channeled through efficiently and courteously through Telephone, In Person, Mail or Sales Department
