Welcome to the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Thank you for visiting our website as you deliberate the critical question as to “Which school fits best with the needs of my child and our family?” My name is John Conway and it is my privilege to be the Founding Principal at one of the most prestigious schools in Abu Dhabi. I arrived at SZPAB from my previous position as Principal of an outstanding school in London, where I was a qualified Inspector and worked as a School Improvement Advisor to schools across the region. The task of leading our wonderful school is incredibly exciting and I am looking forward to leading our students to great achievements. The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is a continuation of the success and reputation of The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls, which was established in 2000 to fulfil the vision of the Late President, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. As an inclusive school, SZPAB currently provides the highest quality of holistic education and development for boys and girls from KG1 – Grade 3, and boys only from Grades 4–7 with plans for natural growth up to Grade 12 in consecutive years. Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is an American Curriculum school, with a strong Arabic and Islamic approach, with emphasis on local culture and awareness and with programs such as UAE National Studies and My Identity. Maintaining an appreciation for the UAE's international community and world at large, the school’s vision aims to secure the future of the UAE by providing strong community role-models who understand their heritage and traditions and are also equipped with the skills and life-long learning dispositions necessary to embrace the challenges of tomorrow and to take on leading roles.
