SPECIFICDUTIES

Thefollowingarespecificresponsibilitiesandcontributionscriticaltothesuccessfulperformanceoftheposition:

  • PunchinasschedulereadytoworkandaccordingtoGroomingStandards.
  • Checkforcaptainforrequiredsetupandtypeofserviceassignment.
  • Havebarsetupreadytogo15minutesbefore operationisschedulestostart.

Thisinvolves:Anadequatesupplyoffollowing(tolastthroughthedurationofthefunctionifpossible).Icewatermixerallingredientsnecessaryforpreparingdrinks.Glassesgarnishesnapkinandsidetowel.Matches/ashtrayscigarettes.

  • Performcashierdutiesifrequired.ThisinvolveshandlingticketsandcashasperMarriottInternationalFoodandBeverageSOP.
  • PrepareandservedrinksasperMarriottstandardspoliciesproceduresusingajiggerasalltimes.
  • Neverleaveyourbarduringafunctionunlessproperlyrelievedbyanotherbartenderorthecaptain/matred.
  • Atalltimesthebarareashouldbemaintainedinacleanandorganizedcondition.Practicecleanasyougo.
  • Afterfunctionisoverandguesthavelefttheroombreakdown andthoroughlycleanthebar.
  • Ensuretheproperstorageofliquorfruitandequipmentallliquortobesecure.
  • Tocomplywithalllocallawsandregulations.
  • Toreportissuesorrequirementstothesupervisors.
  • Whenrequestedisreadytoworkasawaiter/waitressaswell.
  • Tohaveacleanuniformandimpeccablepersonalgroomingincompliancewithcompanystandards.
  • Tobeattheassignedworkareainuniformandreadytoworkatthetimethatisscheduled.
  • AllEventOperationsbartenderswillberequiredtocompletelyfamiliarizehimselfwiththelocationofeachofthefunctionroomsandrelatedareas.
  • Tointroduceonesselftotheguestononesstationandprojectawarmcheerfulenthusiasticdesiretobeofservice.
  • Towearanametagaspartoftheproperuniformaswellasnoexcessivejewelrytobewornwhile working.
  • TocomplywithallsafetyregulationsandcompanypoliciesasoutlinedintheEmployeeshandbook.
  • Toassistcustomerwheneverpossible.
  • Toperformallotherreasonableasrequestedbythemanagement.
  • Toensurethatallpropsaftereachfunctionisstorebackinthedesignatedareaandhandleswithgreatcare.
  • Toensurethatallbarequipmentsfixtureandfurniturearehandledwithgreatcare.
  • Tocreateagoodworkingrelationshipwithcoworkersandmaintainacourteousattitudetowardsthemanagementandalltheemployeesandguestsofthehotel.
  • Tobringanyproblemsthatmayoccuroranyspecialrequestsbyguests totheirsupervisorsattentionassoonaspossible.
  • Toprovidethebestpossibleproperserviceofguestsofthishotelatalltimes.
  • Topracticeconstantlythe Cleanasyougopolicytoupholdthehighestsanitationstandards.
  • Receive the guest with the greetings of the day and a smile
  • Present the menu & suggest luxury collection cocktails. Inquire for the guest suite number.
  • Assist the guest with the drinks selections and answer any queries about drinks
  • Do a quality check if the guest orders cocktails.
  • Engage in a conversation with the guest whenever appropriate. General topics should be about resorts facilities or activities.
  • Table maintenance should carried out.
  • Present the bill as per standard when asked and give a copy of the luxury collection cocktail recipe
  • Bid the guest fond farewell.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any complains.
  • Coordinate with other departments in exceeding guest expectations.
  • To be updated in communication between departments.
  • To attend managers & Supervisors meeting.
