Thefollowingarespecificresponsibilitiesandcontributionscriticaltothesuccessfulperformanceoftheposition:
- PunchinasschedulereadytoworkandaccordingtoGroomingStandards.
- Checkforcaptainforrequiredsetupandtypeofserviceassignment.
- Havebarsetupreadytogo15minutesbefore operationisschedulestostart.
Thisinvolves:Anadequatesupplyoffollowing(tolastthroughthedurationofthefunctionifpossible).Icewatermixerallingredientsnecessaryforpreparingdrinks.Glassesgarnishesnapkinandsidetowel.Matches/ashtrayscigarettes.
- Performcashierdutiesifrequired.ThisinvolveshandlingticketsandcashasperMarriottInternationalFoodandBeverageSOP.
- PrepareandservedrinksasperMarriottstandardspoliciesproceduresusingajiggerasalltimes.
- Neverleaveyourbarduringafunctionunlessproperlyrelievedbyanotherbartenderorthecaptain/matred.
- Atalltimesthebarareashouldbemaintainedinacleanandorganizedcondition.Practicecleanasyougo.
- Afterfunctionisoverandguesthavelefttheroombreakdown andthoroughlycleanthebar.
- Ensuretheproperstorageofliquorfruitandequipmentallliquortobesecure.
- Tocomplywithalllocallawsandregulations.
- Toreportissuesorrequirementstothesupervisors.
- Whenrequestedisreadytoworkasawaiter/waitressaswell.
- Tohaveacleanuniformandimpeccablepersonalgroomingincompliancewithcompanystandards.
- Tobeattheassignedworkareainuniformandreadytoworkatthetimethatisscheduled.

- Tocreateagoodworkingrelationshipwithcoworkersandmaintainacourteousattitudetowardsthemanagementandalltheemployeesandguestsofthehotel.
- Tobringanyproblemsthatmayoccuroranyspecialrequestsbyguests totheirsupervisorsattentionassoonaspossible.
- Toprovidethebestpossibleproperserviceofguestsofthishotelatalltimes.
- Topracticeconstantlythe Cleanasyougopolicytoupholdthehighestsanitationstandards.
- Receive the guest with the greetings of the day and a smile
- Present the menu & suggest luxury collection cocktails. Inquire for the guest suite number.
- Assist the guest with the drinks selections and answer any queries about drinks
- Do a quality check if the guest orders cocktails.
- Engage in a conversation with the guest whenever appropriate. General topics should be about resorts facilities or activities.
- Table maintenance should carried out.
- Present the bill as per standard when asked and give a copy of the luxury collection cocktail recipe
- Bid the guest fond farewell.
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any complains.
- Coordinate with other departments in exceeding guest expectations.
- To be updated in communication between departments.
- To attend managers & Supervisors meeting.
