Job Description

Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor

Location: UAE

Experience Required: 710 years in MEP works (UAE/GCC experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs material measurements and BOQs for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems based on drawings and specifications

  • Analyze and evaluate subcontractor quotations purchase orders and variation claims

  • Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications to clients

  • Review subcontractor invoices and verify work progress before certification

  • Assist in cost control budgeting and value engineering processes

  • Track and manage variations change orders and ensure proper documentation

  • Support tendering and estimation activities when required

  • Coordinate with project teams procurement planning and accounts departments

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying

  • Proven experience in MEP contracting companies on high-rise commercial or infrastructure projects

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems market rates and local authority requirements

  • Proficient in AutoCAD MS Excel and QS software (e.g. CCS Candy or CostX)

  • Excellent analytical negotiation and reporting skills
