Job Description
The main responsibilities will include:
- Install and maintain various types of dewatering systems (wellpoints, deep wells, sump pumps, etc.).
- Set up hoses, pumps, piping, fittings, and filters according to site-specific requirements.
- Monitor water levels and pump performance regularly to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on pumps and equipment.
- Record flow rates and any irregularities during operation.
- Manage discharge water in compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers on changes to dewatering needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
