Job Description
- Install repair and maintain various plumbing fixtures and systems including sinks tubs toilets water heaters and water conditioners
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plumbing equipment including water supply systems sewer pumps and drainage networks
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems including cleaning fat traps soil pipes and roof-level ventilation and rainwater outlets
- Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements
- Install supports and hangers for pipes fixtures and equipment ensuring proper positioning and functionality
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute preventive and annual maintenance programs
- Adhere to all safety rules local building codes and regulations while performing job duties
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property occupants or clients
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies and best practices
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing installation maintenance and repair
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems including water supply drainage and sewage systems
- Proven ability to diagnose troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and safely
- Proficient in using hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment specific to plumbing work
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to plumbing
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Baghdad Iraq
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and plumbing diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
