Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchaser to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Purchaser you will play a crucial role in our procurement department ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with vendors while optimizing costs and quality.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process including preparing purchase orders tracking deliveries and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and process purchase requisitions
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality and delivery time
  • Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Stay informed about market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred)
  • 5 -10 years of experience in purchasing procurement or a related field in Construction or Inrastrucrure Industry in the UAE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with supplier management and vendor relationships
  • Negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and local business practices in the UAE
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and business needs
