Job Title: Supply Chain Lead
Level: Head of Function

Role Purpose:
The Supply Chain Lead will own and drive the full operational function including warehouse logistics shipments inventory and customer service ensuring end-to-end supply chain efficiency and service excellence. This role is critical to enabling the companys growth and agility in both local and export markets. The ideal candidate will combine strategic supply chain thinking with hands-on operational expertise. They will assess build and optimize processes to support scalability and performance ensure system integration with platforms like NetSuite or other ERP tools relevant to operations and foster cross-functional alignment and a culture of accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization
- Lead the full supply chain function across UAE and GCC markets from inbound logistics to last-mile delivery.
- Develop and implement robust operational processes to enhance efficiency minimize costs and reduce lead times.
- Evaluate and optimize current warehouse layout capacity and fulfillment practices to improve speed and accuracy.
- Identify areas for systemization and automation including stock management order processing and reporting.
- Build a scalable foundation to support expansion into new markets or product lines.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for key functions to ensure consistency and training scalability.
- Support efficiency & sustainability initiatives through optimized packaging reduced waste and eco-friendly logistics solutions.
2. Logistics Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee all domestic and international shipments ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels across SKUs and locations to balance availability working capital and forecast accuracy.
- Manage inbound shipments supplier deliveries and distribution timelines in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Oversee 3PL relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure service levels and cost efficiency.
- Set & document processes for returns damages or warranty guidelines.
3. Customer Service & Order Fulfillment
- Lead customer service to ensure timely accurate and professional order handling.
- Set service-level standards and KPIs across client interactions delivery timelines and complaint resolution.
- Maintain a client-first culture that reinforces the companys reputation for reliability and premium service.
- Work closely with the digital/eCommerce team to ensure seamless DTC order management and customer satisfaction.
4. Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Develop a high-performing supply chain and operations team with clear roles processes and accountability.
- Foster strong collaboration with Sales Marketing Education and Finance to align supply plans with business needs.
- Provide reporting and operational insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of experience in supply chain operations or logistics ideally in FMCG distribution or export-driven industries.
- Experience managing both B2B and B2C operations.
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations customer service and logistics teams.
- Familiarity with UAE and GCC market logistics including regulatory compliance.
- Track record of building or restructuring supply chain processes in growing businesses.
- Strong analytical commercial and execution capabilities.
- ERP system experience (e.g. NetSuite SAP).
