Job Description
Design end-to-end solution architectures for banking applications ensuring alignment with business goals enterprise architecture standards and technology and recommend appropriate architecture patterns tools and platforms for new and existing architecture artifacts such as solution blueprints sequence diagrams data flow diagrams integration designs and interface architectural governance by participating in design reviews and architecture with cross-functional teams including business development infrastructure and security teams to deliver high-quality business requirements into scalable and modular solution detailed solution architecture documents including logical physical integration and deployment non-functional requirements (performance security reliability scalability) are properly & document if proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to validate emerging technologies or solution recommendations for buy vs build decisions based on feasibility and cost-benefit with DevOps teams to ensure that the solution architecture supports continuous integration and continuous delivery Address security aspects such as data encryption access control and identity management in the architecture proposals and review outcomes to architecture governance boards and executive architectural risks and define mitigation strategies early in the project the impact of proposed changes on existing applications infrastructure and enterprise and document architecture decisions made during critical meetings workshops and design an architecture decision log or repository Confluence SharePoint tools for traceability and audit Result AreasExplore and recommend new technologies supporting Cloud On Prem ApplicationsPresent Solution designs and seek approval in Architecture review boardsShould be strong in solution design. Conduct and drive Blueprints High Level Design (HLD) and Notings to Solutions EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related in architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) or cloud platforms (AWS Azure) are preferred. Banking Financial Services or experience in large scale banking transformation or modernization programs. Required Skills and Experience10 plus years of IT experience with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect for large scale enterprise experience in banking and financial services particularly in areas such as Core Banking Payments Digital Banking Lending and understanding of banking business processes and compliance on experience in designing solutions using integration tools IBM Integration Bus and IBM API Gateway and messaging platforms Familiarity with security protocols and data protection standards in banking environments OAuth2 TLS PKI DLPCloud architecture experience Azure AWSor GCP with hybrid integration knowledge of DevOps CI CD microservices and containerization Docker DevOps CI CD microservices and containerization Docker KubernetesFamiliar with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or BIAN.
