Job Description

Our client one of the chemical suppliers in the UAE is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Executive o join their team. In this role your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

1. Hardware & Infrastructure Support

  • Install configure and maintain laptops desktops monitors printers servers cameras access control devices and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all IT hardware.
  • Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues.

2. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration

  • Manage user accounts licenses and permissions in Microsoft 365 (Exchange SharePoint Teams OneDrive).
  • Provide day-to-day support for email and collaboration tools including Teams Outlook and SharePoint Online.
  • Handle laptop setups for onboarding including imaging application installations and account configurations.

3. Network & Connectivity

  • Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.
  • Liaise with service providers such as Du or Etisalat for telecom and internet services including installation troubleshooting and upgrades.

4. IT Helpdesk & Support Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues within the Dubai office.
  • Log track and resolve incidents and service requests using ManageEngine ticketing system.
  • Provide remote support for offsite employees when needed and escalate issues as appropriate.

5. Asset & Documentation Management

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software.
  • Document system configurations incidents and resolutions.
  • Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and records are regularly updated.

6. General IT Operations

  • Ensure secure disposal and data wiping of retired IT equipment.
  • Maintain physical security of IT infrastructure (e.g. server room access).
  • Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with hardware (laptops printers access devices etc.).
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration including Exchange Teams SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Experience using ManageEngine or similar IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
