Job Description
Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a lighting solutions provider who provides eco-friendly and energy-saving LED lighting solutions across several countries. Our client is looking for an experienced ales Manager Lighting Projects to lead their lighting solutions business in the UAE. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new lighting projects building strong client relationships and managing the sales cycle from concept to completion. This role involves close collaboration with architects consultants contractors and developers to deliver high-quality innovative lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new lighting project opportunities across the UAE.
- Promote the company s product portfolio to consultants MEP contractors lighting designers and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position our offerings effectively.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable lighting solutions.
- Coordinate with internal support teams for quotation technical submittals and mock-ups.
- Prepare and follow up on project proposals quotes and negotiations until order closure.
- Collaborate with factory/warehouse to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
- Lead vendor registration and assist in pre-qualification documentation.
- Work toward and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Provide regular feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure all products comply with local regulations and obtain necessary government or utility approvals when required.
- Participate in exhibitions seminars and industry events to promote the brand.
- Maintain accurate sales records project updates and reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in sales/marketing of technical lighting products (e.g. street lights tunnel lights indoor lights) in large UAE-based projects.
- Must be currently employed in a medium/large lighting supply or manufacturing company in a senior sales position.
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Architecture or related field.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Strong communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent client relationship and networking abilities.
- Proven track record in handling lighting projects and meeting sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Working knowledge of Dialux and/or Relux is preferred.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is an added advantage.
