Job Description

Job Title: QC Inspector - Civil

Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests to verify conformance with project specifications drawings and standards.

  2. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections tests and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

  3. Reporting: Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to project management and stakeholders.

  4. Compliance: Ensure adherence to project quality control plans (QCPs) and procedures.

  5. Coordination: Collaborate with engineering procurement and construction teams to resolve quality issues.

  6. Training: Participate in training programs related to quality assurance and control.

  7. Safety: Promote and enforce safety standards on-site.

  8. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in processes and quality control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Experience: Previous experience in construction quality control particularly in civil works.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in quality control or inspection (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) are beneficial.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail ability to read and interpret engineering drawings knowledge of quality management systems.
