We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team at Freelan in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Hospice Nurse you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with terminal illnesses ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during their final days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patients condition and report any changes to the physician
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and pain management techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to address any medical needs of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow all hospice policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Current nursing license in the United Arab Emirates
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice or palliative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with sensitivity
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in electronic medical record keeping
- Knowledge of end-of-life care and pain management techniques
