A Content Creator & Graphic Designer at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is responsible for conceptualizing designing and executing visual and multimedia content that elevates the hotels brand presence across digital social media and print platforms. This position plays a pivotal role in capturing the essence of luxury storytelling through visuals and delivering exceptional brand experiences across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a passion for design photography and content creationensuring all assets reflect our refined aesthetic values and guest experience.

What will I be doing

As a Content Creator & Graphic Designer you will be responsible for developing and executing compelling creative assets aligned with the brands identity and marketing strategy. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Conceptualize design and produce high-quality visuals including social media content digital advertisements brochures flyers posters menus event invitations and other marketing collateral.
  • Create visually stunning and engaging content across various social media platforms including Instagram TikTok Snapchat YouTube and Meta to drive the online presence of the hotel.
  • Operate professional photography and videography equipment as well as editing software to produce captivating content for promotional use across digital platforms.
  • Plan and execute photoshoots and video shoots to highlight hotel experiences culinary offerings events spa treatments and authentic team stories.
  • Produce short-form video content and digital assets on a regular basis to support social media campaigns email marketing and website engagement.
  • Write compelling captions scripts and short-form articles that align with brand tone and connect meaningfully with target audiences.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive monthly content calendars that reflect the hotels activities brand goals and seasonal priorities.
  • Collaborate with leaders to gather and consolidate content for the hotels dining outlets ensuring consistency in messaging and visual quality.
  • Schedule and publish content across all channels optimizing timing and frequency to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Plan and execute integrated social media campaigns and support live or virtual events by capturing dynamic content for real-time and post-event promotion.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments messages and inquiries in a timely professional and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotels online presence and brand reputation across platforms ensuring brand voice and visual consistency are upheld.
  • Utilize social listening tools to analyze audience sentiment and feedback gathering insights that influence and refine future content strategy.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance reports across all social channels and campaigns to track ROI measure success and identify areas for growth.
  • Perform competitive analysis and stay up to date with content trends digital marketing best practices SEO strategies and luxury travel industry movements.
  • Identify and collaborate with bloggers and influencers for strategic partnerships that enhance the hotels reach and desirability.
  • Design cohesive brand assets that uphold the hotels visual identity including print and digital materials such as in-room collateral signage menus presentations and ads.
  • Maintain and organize a digital asset library to ensure efficient content management and retrieval.
  • Ensure all created content aligns with Waldorf Astorias brand guidelines and contributes meaningfully to the overall luxury guest experience.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and storytelling techniques to elevate the hotels brand narrative and appeal.

What are we looking for

A Content Creator & Graphic Designer serving Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviors skills and values that follow:

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in content creation graphic design and social media management within a luxury hotel high-end lifestyle brand or creative agency.
  • Bachelors degree in graphic design Multimedia Marketing or a related creative field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing visual content strategies across multiple digital channels.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Premiere Pro and After Effects with hands-on experience in both static and motion design.
  • Skilled in photography video production editing and visual storytelling that aligns with luxury brand standards.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends digital storytelling formats and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to create and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic across all visuals and platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for composition typography and brand alignment.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple design and content projects while meeting deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • A polished portfolio showcasing high-end design and digital content work is required to demonstrate creative range and style.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and short-form scripts tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Confident in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing F&B and operations to uncover and produce meaningful content.
  • Awareness of the luxury hospitality landscape and guest expectations with sensitivity to cultural and brand nuance.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of animation or motion graphics is an advantage for producing dynamic content.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends days afternoons and evenings
