Job Description
We are seeking a professional and efficient Driver Light Vehicle to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to various destinations within the city and surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service.
- Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods
- Navigate through Abu Dhabis road network using GPS and local knowledge
- Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after trips
- Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and any incidents or delays
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
- Report any vehicle issues accidents or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours including evenings and weekends when required
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers manual license for the appropriate vehicle class
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of Abu Dhabis road network and local traffic regulations
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation with good communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
- Calm and composed demeanor especially in hightraffic situations
- Defensive driving certification (preferred)
