Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Inspector Mechanical to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As an Inspector Mechanical you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the city.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing drainage fire protection and water supply to ensure compliance with contract documents specifications and building codes
  • Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors
  • Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals taking necessary actions as required
  • Read and interpret package contract documents detailed drawings and specifications including any associated updates
  • Monitor contractor compliance with standards and specifications through observation measurements and testing
  • Maintain accurate records of contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis
  • Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
  • Document contractor activities including personnel equipment location and methods utilized
  • Monitor and report on material deliveries and implement site instructions as directed by leadership
  • Apply and enforce quality control procedures and quality assurance processes onsite
  • Prepare site measurements and conduct surveying checks as needed
  • Monitor health and safety practices during construction works and report any violations
  • Write clear and concise reports detailing inspection findings and recommendations

Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Engineering required (Bachelors degree preferred for career advancement)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy specifically in mechanicalrelated projects
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies including HVAC plumbing drainage fire protection and water supply systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings specifications and building codes
  • Familiarity with installation processes and procedures for various mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction
  • Experience in diverse building types particularly highrise mixeduse residential and commercial retail and hospitality projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise reports
  • Detailed knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for inspection and reporting purposes
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work onsite and in various weather conditions
