Job Purpose
The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for carrying out process engineering aspects and process design activities for projects at different stages including Conceptual Studies FrontEnd Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering design for any oil and gas field projects including upstream offshore/onshore oil and gas treating and downstream processing environmentally sustainable developments either greenfield and brownfield. This role involves working as part of a team of engineers to ensure the successful of the projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- To prepare and review process simulations and optimization studies for select / appraise stage projects and prepare Process Flow Schemes with heat and mass balances equipment sizing layout etc. for costing and option selection.
- To perform detailed process engineering work with minimal supervision and generate deliverables including Process Flow Diagram Piping & Instrumentation Diagram Equipment Datasheets Study Reports/Manuals etc. during all design phases including knowledge and interpretation of international standards.
- To review any process design work carried out by third parties (Vendors) other offices and to participate in HAZIDs HAZOPs SIL Hazard Analysis reviews and audits.
- To technically and positively interact with Client both verbally and in writing.
- To actively train and encourage the development of UAE national staff to fulfill process engineering roles providing onthejob training.
- To understand the requirements of the office quality and safety systems and ensure these requirements are met.
- To collaborate with other disciplines and contribute for meeting overall project delivery on time in an efficient and safe way.
Functional Responsibilities
- Maintain process engineering standards and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for processrelated issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of process engineering deliverables in accordance with project schedules.
- Support procurement activities by providing technical input for equipment selection and vendor evaluation.
- Participate in commissioning and startup activities providing technical support as needed.
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering design for offshore/onshore greenfield/brownfield projects.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS Flare System Analyzer ProMax Pipesim Pipenet others).
- Strong knowledge of process safety management and hazard analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g. API ASME ISO).
- Familiarity with local Client (ADNOC) standards.
- Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.

Qualifications
- Mandatory:Bachelors degree in engineering (Chemical Process or related field).
- Preferred:Masters degree in engineering (Chemical Process or related field) and/or membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering within engineering Contractors with a focus on FEED and EPC design for upstream onshore/offshore greenfield/brownfield projects.
- Experience of working on ADNOC projects is required.
Work Environment
The role will be based in Abu Dhabi office requiring collaboration with local and international teams. The work environment is dynamic and fastpaced necessitating flexibility and a proactive approach to challenges.
