Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve FFED / EPC Contractors deliverables and ensure compliance with Contract obligations Project specifications relevant codes and standards design philosophy and Industry best practices.
• Ensure engineering works are performed to meet project schedules and that completed works are delivered safely and in a timely manner
• Coordinate all communications and meetings with the Contractors regarding engineering/design requirements as they may arise.
• Actively manage Contractors HSE process of hazard identification (HAZID) including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Participate in Layout P&lD HAZID HAZOP SIL Layout Safety Reviews PSSR constructability reviews 3D Model reviews safety audits QRA workshops etc.
• Attend internal progress and engineering meetings as required with the Contractors.
• To ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of the project.
• To manage and audit the work of Contractor and ensure that quality and standards are maintained and costs effective solutions are adopted.
• To ensure the design works of Contractor are in accordance with the scope of work and project technical specifications.
• Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all process safety actions arising out of key reviews workshops HSSEQ studies safety related concerns etc.
• Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
