Chargehand

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chargehand to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Chargehand you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating daily operations ensuring project efficiency and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Supervise and lead a team of workers on various tasks and projects
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and schedule work activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Assign tasks to team members and provide guidance as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Oversee the proper maintenance and storage of tools and equipment
• Perform handson work as required to support team efforts
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project
• Monitor and report on project progress to management

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Chargehand or in a supervisory role in construction or manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
• Proficiency in project planning scheduling and coordination
• Valid commercial drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities
• Physical capability to lift heavy materials and equipment when necessary
• Familiarity with construction or manufacturing processes and equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• UAE work visa or residency (or eligibility to obtain one)
