Patient Care Coordinator

Our client, a well-known medical center in UAE is currently recruiting for Patient Care Coordinator for their Dubai location.

Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Listen to patients and their families to ensure needs are being addressed, educate patients on medical procedures or conditions, keep patient records up to date, and act as a liaison between the patient and healthcare personnel by keeping the lines of communication flowing.
• Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone
• Answer patient calls, emails and questions, including finding insurance estimates
• Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
• Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing
• Meet with patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care.
• Monitor and coordinate patients’ treatment plans, guide them to understand the status of their health, and check in on their progress.
• Follow facility guidelines, healthcare laws, and regulations
• Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• At least 2-3 years of experience working as a Patient Care Coordinator/Patient Relation in a healthcare facility
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Has a great personality – warm, friendly, and outgoing
• Must have experience with insurance and claims management
• Must be willing to work in Dubai
