Job Description
A Pediatrician’s duties and responsibilities can vary based on the setting in which they work. However, in all cases, a Pediatrician is primarily responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the patient’s physical and psychological health issues. A Pediatrician’s duties and responsibilities may include:
- Assessing and diagnosing physiological and psychological medical concerns of patients
- Treating physiological and psychological disorders and diseases
- Prescribing medication and treatments for patients
- Ordering and analyzing diagnostic and laboratory tests and procedures
- Perform and supervisor surgeries
- Complete thorough and accurate documentation related to patient care
