Job Description

Commercial Design India carries insightful interviews of various stakeholders associated with the industry, in-depth profiles of suppliers, showcase outstanding commercial spaces – both Indian and international – highlight latest market trends and present the newest products in the market.

We offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment, and we currently have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join us in our Mumbai office to make an immediate impact on our team. We are looking for someone who is positive, supportive, self-starting, and is ready for that next big leap in their career!

The Sales Manager will be responsible for raising money through the sale of Space in the magazine Commercial Design and Its Digital and Event properties through Sponsorship and Advertisement by targeting various companies, organizations and associations. The Manager creates sponsorship and marketing packages according to client specification. The Manager attends weekly company meetings, sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required

Requirements

The candidate is expected to

  • Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each month.
  • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients
  • Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors
  • Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;
  • Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines

This position is suited to a self-motivated, professional person who can confidently work with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Diplomacy, tact and a sense of humor are important to the success of this person.
