Job Description
- Having a complete overview of the brand cycle – OTB, brand positioning, assortment & range planning, stock age management, replenishment plan
- Establishing strong working relationship with key partners and leverage this association to secure preferential terms – commercial terms, marketing and visibility support, brand, SKU exclusivity
- Using key partner’s global exposure to understand best practices, trends, innovation in the eyewear space, so that the Group is at the forefront of development in the eyewear retail space
- Working with the optical team to ensure best in class product offering of optical frames and lens
- Optimal manpower resource planning, recruitment and retention of best talent
- Identifying talent within retail and managerial ranks and put together growth development plans
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure their functional objectives are fulfilled
- Monitoring and ensuring the key functions of visual merchandising, daily store hygiene, store maintenance and other operating SOPs are in line with management expectations
- Ensuring staff standards are upheld in terms of grooming, discipline, teamwork and customer service etiquettes are uncompromised
- Working closely with the brand, optical and operations team in ensuring our staff knowledge base is current.
- Endeavoring constantly to be at the forefront of superior customer engagement and offer an elevated optical journey to our customers and to this end, work with the L&D team to facilitate pre-defined journeys
- Coaching and mentoring operating managers to develop the required skills to progress their careers
- Establishing a strong connect with key store managers to become information gatherers
