Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities for Sr. Security Engineer • Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of Security Systems (IP CCTV, Access Control, IDS, etc) or related equipment. • Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing of Security Systems in accordance with Local Authority Standard and other relevant Codes of Practice/Policies. • Participation in design review meetings and workshops. If required. • Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings. • Responsible for regular site visits to ensure installation standard is satisfactory. • Provide guidance and advice for alternative proposals if required by the contractor. • Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the systems working and functionality • Responding to out of work hours service calls. Qualifications for Security Engineer • Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines • Responsive to changing demands • Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems and design solutions • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills • Demonstrate at least 3-4 years previous experience in a Security system role • Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise • SIRA Certified • UAE Driving License • Technical Competencies – Desirable • Knowledge of IP Systems / Networking is preferable • Knowledge of any of the following CCTV, Intercom, Access Control and Intruder Alarms using a range of equipment including: Honeywell, Bosch, Milestone, HikVision, Nedap, Suprema, Satel, Lenel, 2N, Comelit, Fermax, Samsung and others. • Manufacturers training and certification for any of the following: Honeywell, Bosch, Milestone, HikVision, Nedap, Suprema, Satel, Lenel, 2N, Comelit, Fermax, Samsung and others. • Basic knowledge in SQL system and other database server. • Coordination with Government authorities and aware of updated Laws and Regulations
