Job Description • Manage core processing equipment to make laboratory work functional. • Manage and define core handling/processing standard procedure as per RP 40 of API. CT and micro CT scanning, digital rock property (DRP) analysis etc. • Manage and define core house storage protocols as per standard coding methods (Packing / Labelling / Shelfing) for drill cuttings and core archival system. • Handling New Technology imaging equipment datasets (360-degree high resolution photography/microscopy/CT scanning etc.). Latest image processing and image segmentation techniques using equipment built in imaging softwares. • Quality Control of services during all phases of the laboratory work to ensure that products of highest quality are delivered to PPL assets. • Visit Rig site for witnessing of coring jobs, involved in core analysis plan according to the reservoir properties, if required. Minimum Requirements: M.SC degree in Geology from a reputable local or foreign HEC approved institute. Qualified Geologist must have minimum10 years or more exclusive experience as Core processing and imaging expert.
