Core Analysis

Job Description • Manage lab equipment and prepare SOPs based on RP 40 of API to make laboratory work functional. • Supervise and evaluate laboratory personnel to better utilize and improve their skills in order to improve lab efficiency. • Quality Control and Assurance of all data produced in the laboratories prior to share with the company asset teams. • Routine servicing, regular maintenance, supervision of repairs, restocking and calibration of all laboratory equipment used in Routine Core Analysis (core preparation, fluid saturation by tracer analysis, Soxhlet cleaning using standard or azeotropic mixture, basic rock properties at ambient & NCS) and Special Core Analysis (Capillary pressure by porous plate and by mercury injection method, electrical analysis). • Visit Rig site for witnessing of coring jobs, involved in core analysis plan according to the reservoir properties, if required. • Proposed personnel should be fluent in spoken / written English with good in presentation & technical report writing skills Min Requirements: M.SC degree in Geology from a reputable local or foreign HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) approved institute Qualified Geologist must have minimum 20 years or more exclusive experience as Core analyst.
