- A neurosurgeon is a physician whospecializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systemincluding congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine, stroke, or degenerative diseases of the spine
A neurosurgeon is a medical doctor whospecializes in evaluating, diagnosing and treating conditions of the brain, spine and nervous system. Neurosurgeons have extensive training, knowledge and experience performing some of the most complex surgical procedures the human body can undergo.
