This role will manage and supervise the Planning, Procurement and Production Departments. In Production department, he is responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of production processes. As Procurement Manager, he negotiates with external vendors to secure advantageous terms including strategizing to find cost-effective deals. And as Planning Manager, he oversees production planning and management activities within the organization and determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications, determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand. • Planning the production based on the Sales Order. • Ensuring the requirement of the Raw Material and Packing Material manual, ERP data base and updating changes, if any. • Work out procurement plan based on the sales forecast and BOM. Closely monitor stock levels and re order level using BI (Business Intelligence) tools. • Commodity price tracking and facilitate buying decision. • Raising purchase orders, sending purchase order to UK, checking requisitions and purchase order status in the systems, correcting purchase orders. • Streamlining ERP and ensuring its smooth functioning. • Solving all issue regarding inventory management at plant. • Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule. • Ensure planned KPI's of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded. • Responsible for operational commitments against confirmed plan that meets forecasted targets and immediate commercial requirements with focus on synchronizing order processing, shipping schedule and inbound/outbound needs. • Ensure accuracy of data on ERP which will encompass warehouse materials, stock and finished goods as well as open production orders and bill of materials. • Develop weekly and monthly production plans that effectively manage labor requirements and enable plant efficiency targets to be achieved while minimizing utility cost. Close coordination with finance department is expected at times. • Supervision of materials planning activities together with purchasing department determined by seasonal consumption levels and forecast. • Maintain minimum and maximum order levels as well as accurate re-order triggers for all packaging materials and flavors. • Make yield analysis of PM/FM on weekly basis and generate weekly report based on ERP data provided. • Capture and report all exceptions and output variances – in turn take corrective action. • Close monitoring of wastage report and rejections. • Communicates schedule requirements to all relevant departments. Project future requirements and corresponding production plan on weekly and monthly basis. • Schedule timely changes in production plan to include asset maintenance requirements. • Be part of lead team for Annual Stock take of tea, flavors and materials. • Ensuring that the production is cost effective. • Develop and track improvements in reduction of planned downtime hours. • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. • Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality (Right first-time product) meets or exceed planned goals. • Ensure all engineering line PM's are completed on schedule. • Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS, GMP's and 5s processes. • Setting timescales for service work and standard jobs. • Track competencies of subordinates and leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives. • Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures. • Monitoring the production process and adjusting the schedules as needed. • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs. • Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through the delivery of change management. • Liaising among different departments e.g. Quality, Engineering, Hygiene and Logistics. • Reviewing the performance of subordinates through appraisals. • BE/B. Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production • Minimum 08-10 years’ experience in a similar FMCG production environment and role • Should have Excellent knowledge in Planning, Production and Processing, quality control principles, Administration and Management • Proficient with MS Office applications and preferably with background in Microsoft Dynamics 360 Business Central & ERP systems. • Good at math and statistics. • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market. • Must be available in UAE.
