Podiatrist

We are looking for a Podiatrist to diagnose and treat minor or serious injuries, diseases of the feet, ankles, and the lower part of the legs. Responsibilities .

Manage a podiatry clinic within 2 hospital facilities. .

Use various podiatric techniques (like casting and laser therapy) to treat deformities and ailments .

Review patients’ medical history .

Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices .

Perform measurement for the fitting of insoles Requirements .

Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities specialized in the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and leg. .

Experience to include: o diabetic foot care, treatment of recurring ingrown toenails, and o fitting of orthopedic shoes. o Routine Foot Care o Surgical Foot Care o Diabetic foot care/ prevention .

Management of prosthetics/ orthotics specialized in the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and leg. .

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both with children and the elderly .

Empathy and patience when dealing with serious diseases .
