Job Responsibilities:
– Economic Substance Coordinator must inform and educate the licensees about the Report filing requirements:
a) Prepare and issue newsletters / emails
b) Provide information and important updates in the Regulations
c) Prepare and Share Frequently Asked Questions (‘FAQ’)
d) Issuing e-mail reminders to all licensees
– Collect and verify ESR reports and supporting documentation
– Following up the missing ESR Reports and supporting materials from the licensees
– Store ESR Reports and supporting documentation
– Request and follow up with Licensees to update ESR Report and / or provide additional material required for verification
– Monitoring of the overall ESR report submission status
– Define, implement and maintain data verification
– Identify and report Licensees that did not pass the data verification process
– Decide final status of Licensees that did not pass the verification process
– Reporting for Licensees that did not submit the ESR Report or pass the verification process
– Maintain list of potential Licensees and perform ESR risk mitigation activities such as verifying the accuracy / completeness of the information, and carrying out risk assessments
– Handling ESR related queries either by emails, phone or walk-in client
– Perform risk assessment
– Correspondence with consultants, competent authorities when needed
– Keep up to date with the relevant laws and regulations
Job Requirements:
– Minimum bachelor’s degree
– Understanding of financial statements
– Have sufficient knowledge aboutESR Rules & Regulation
– Compliance experience is a plus.
–Native Arab preferred; excellent command English is mandatory
