Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Engineer Planning to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful planning and of construction projects working collaboratively with project managers and team members to deliver highquality results.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera
- Review and analyze procurement and construction programs for contractors and subcontractors
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports graphs and critical path analyses for weekly and monthly reporting
- Monitor actual progress against construction programs and report deviations to senior management
- Assist in identifying project risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
- Collaborate closely with site supervision teams to gather realtime progress updates
- Conduct independent site visits to evaluate contractor progress against established programs
- Support the evaluation of potential additional works and variation proposals
- Maintain detailed records of program monitoring to support claim evaluations and dispute resolutions
- Assist in workshops and meetings to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5 years of experience in roads construction or related works
- Proficiency in Primavera or similar project management software
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Detailoriented with a keen eye for accuracy in scheduling and reporting
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in the Middle East construction industry preferred
- Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards is a plus
- Willingness to conduct regular site visits and work in a dynamic project environment
