- Plan organize and execute inspection tasks with a high level of professionalism.
- Conduct inspections on materials equipment and construction/installation activities at the site.
- Prepare and maintain quality records and when necessary issue nonconformance reports to the QC Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan by verifying documentation reviewing procedures and assessing equipment used for tests controls and inspections.
- Oversee the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Verify special processes and assess the qualifications of relevant personnel.
- Inspect and validate power transformers switchboards accumulator batteries socket outlets lighting systems remote terminal units instruments cables tunings and other relevant components.
- Perform visual inspections dimensional tests and verify material specifications and connections.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas construction sector.
- CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS Certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of applicable engineering standards and codes relevant to QC surveillance activities in both onshore and offshore fabrication projects.
- Proven experience in structural fabrication including jackets platforms decks skids and manifolds within yardbased facilities.
- This is a projectbased role with a fixedterm contract of 78 months.
