Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and detailoriented Retail Cashier to handle cash transactions assist customers and ensure smooth checkout operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills and experience in handling cash registers POS systems and sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a friendly checkout experience.
- Process cash credit card and digital payments accurately.
- Scan and bag items while ensuring proper pricing and discounts.
- Issue receipts refunds and exchanges as per company policy.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries promotions and product details.
- Count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Report discrepancies shortages or suspicious transactions to management.
- Assist in stock management and shelf organization when needed.
- Follow safety security and company policies at all times.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 13 years of cashier or retail experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of POS systems cash handling and digital payments.
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and transactions.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
