Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Steel Painter to join our professional team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Painter you will be responsible for applying highquality protective and decorative coatings to steel structures equipment and components in various industrial settings.
- Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and removing rust or old paint
- Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements
- Apply primers paints and other coatings using brushes rollers or spray equipment
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coatings to meet quality standards
- Inspect completed work for defects and touch up as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed
- Adapt painting techniques to accommodate Dubais extreme weather conditions
Qualifications :
- Proven experience (23 years minimum) in industrial painting preferably with steel structures
- Proficiency in various painting techniques for steel surfaces
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing color matching and application methods
- Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and handle painting equipment
- Understanding of corrosion protection methods and industrial coating systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial painting is preferred
- Safety certifications (e.g. OSHA) related to working with hazardous materials is a plus
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
- Familiarity with extreme weather conditions and their impact on painting processes
- Detailoriented with a commitment to producing highquality work
- Efficient and organized work habits
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions including high temperatures and at heights when necessary
