Roles and responsibilities
Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management. Clean, press and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles.
Candidate should meet the below requirements:
-1 to 2 years work experience as laundry attendant
- good in communication
-must be willing to work in Fujairah
-must be in UAE and can start immediately

Washing and Drying Linen and Clothing:
- Operate washing machines and dryers to clean laundry, following proper instructions for each fabric type (temperature, cycle, detergent).
- Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and care instructions to prevent damage.
- Pre-treat stains and heavily soiled items with appropriate cleaning agents.

Folding and Ironing:
- Fold cleaned linens, towels, clothing, and other items neatly for storage or delivery.
- Iron garments, bed linens, and other items to remove wrinkles and maintain a polished appearance.

Maintaining Laundry Equipment:
- Ensure that laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment are functioning properly.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Regularly clean and maintain machines to ensure efficiency and longevity.

Inventory Management:
- Keep track of laundry supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and other cleaning products.
- Report low inventory and request replacements when necessary.
- Ensure that linens, uniforms, and other laundered items are accounted for and stored properly.

Quality Control:
- Inspect items for cleanliness and damage, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Ensure that all laundered items are free of stains, damage, and excess lint.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care to prevent damage during washing and drying.

Customer Service (in Hotels or Hospitality):
- In a hotel setting, laundry attendants may also interact with guests, responding to laundry service requests.
- Ensure that laundry is delivered to guest rooms or public areas as requested, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Safety and Cleanliness:
- Follow safety procedures for handling laundry chemicals, operating machines, and lifting heavy loads.
- Keep the laundry room clean and organized, ensuring that it remains free of hazards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.

Record-Keeping:
- Maintain logs of laundry loads, detergents used, and any special instructions or notes related to specific items (e.g., guests' clothing or hospital linens).
- Track any lost or damaged items and report them to the appropriate department or supervisor.
