Our client a major nationallevel bank based in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Onboarding Team Lead to join the Human Capital Management team of the bank. This critical role in the human capital management team is a permanent one and will oversee the onboarding process for all new hires ensuring a seamless and positive transition of all new hires into the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of onboarding specialists providing coaching mentoring and performance feedback;
- Design develop and implement comprehensive and engaging onboarding programs tailored to various roles within the bank including all departments/divisions of the bank and all seniority levels of new hires;
- Collaborate with other Human Capital Management colleagues IT Compliance Security and other relevant departments to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience;
- Oversee all aspects of the onboarding process including background checks KYC/AML compliance regulatory training paperwork completion orientation sessions systems access provisioning and initial rolespecific training;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations including KYC/AML data privacy and security protocols throughout the onboarding process;
- Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding program based on feedback from new hires hiring managers and stakeholders identifying areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness;
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials resources and documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations policies and procedures in the bank;
- Track and analyze onboarding metrics and KPIs of the onboarding team such as timetoproductivity new hire satisfaction and compliance adherence to identify trends and areas for improvement;
- Act as a point of contact for new hires addressing their questions and concerns throughout the onboarding process;
- Stay uptodate on industry best practices regulatory changes and trends in onboarding within the banking sector;
- Manage vendor relationships related to background checks compliance training and other onboardingrelated services.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or a higherlevel degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Capital Management with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role;
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is an additional advantage;
- Understanding of banking regulations including KYC/AML data privacy and security practices is an additional advantage;
- Proven experience in designing and implementing successful onboarding programs ideally within a regulated environment;
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment;
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail;
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and onboarding software;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Certification(s) in Human Capital Management is an additional advantage.
