Job Description
We are looking for a detailoriented Procurement Executive with experience in the oil gas and commodity trading industry to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes within the UAE and Chinese markets supplier negotiations and commodity sourcing. Mandarinspeaking candidates are highly preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for oil gas and commodity trading requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors ensuring costeffective procurement strategies.
- Monitor market trends pricing fluctuations and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international trade regulations procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports to improve efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Manage procurement documentation including purchase orders contracts and supplier agreements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement in the oil and gas sector.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in oil gas or commodity trading within UAE and Chinese markets.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English (Arabic is a plus).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil & gas procurement market trends and supplier networks.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to drive costeffective deals and supplier contracts.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and procurement reporting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE and Chinese trade laws and compliance regulations.
- TechSavvy: Strong knowledge of ERP systems procurement software and MS Office.
