Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in the daytoday operations of our retail environment. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about customer service retail management and team development. You will be responsible for collaborating with the store team to create a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for our customers. Your contributions will help drive sales manage inventory and ensure operational excellence all while maintaining the companys standards and values. You will engage directly with customers and provide them with exceptional service addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. The Assistant Store Manager will also assist in training and mentoring new associates fostering a positive team culture and encouraging personal and professional development among team members. In addition to working closely with the management team you will utilize your problemsolving skills to overcome challenges and implement effective strategies to enhance store performance. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the store.
  • Help to achieve sales goals and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
  • Train mentor and supervise store associates providing ongoing feedback and support.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to optimize sales.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Analyze sales reports and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role for at least 2 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in pointofsale systems inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively and motivate team members to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
