Roles and responsibilities
- Provide guidance to line managers in drafting job descriptions by ensuring clarity and specificity.
- Coordinate with department/sections heads and line managers to understand the jobs and to obtain the JD for all the positions within the function.
- Draft and review JDs to reflect the accurate roles and responsibilities.
- Revise and finalize JDs based on feedback ensuring they meet organizational standards.
- Organize and execute the JD finalization process, ensuring deadlines are met and all necessary
- stakeholders are involved.
- Effectively communicate with various departments to facilitate the JD preparation and approval process.
- Maintain the documentation of all JD drafts, revisions, and approvals
- Maintain dashboards and Provide regular updates on project status, including any issues or delays.
- Ensure consistency of JDs with job evaluation principles and compensation structures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration.
Experience of minimum 2 years in drafting and managing job descriptions; prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
Understanding of Job analysis process and JD formats

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members, suppliers, customers, and transportation providers.
- Time Management: Efficiently managing schedules, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze logistics data and trends, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and service providers to get the best prices and terms.

- Supply Chain Coordination: Managing and coordinating the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring that products are delivered on schedule.
- Inventory Management: Tracking inventory levels, overseeing stock movements, and ensuring that goods are stored and replenished as needed.
- Transportation Management: Coordinating transportation (e.g., shipping, trucking, freight) for inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Order Processing: Handling customer orders, ensuring they are accurately processed and prepared for shipment. This includes managing documentation like packing lists and shipping labels.
- Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling shipments, deliveries, and pick-ups to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Vendor Management: Communicating with suppliers, transportation companies, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations and manage any issues that arise.
- Cost Optimization: Analyzing costs and looking for ways to reduce expenses while maintaining service levels, such as negotiating shipping rates or optimizing inventory levels.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring the status of shipments, keeping track of progress, and updating stakeholders. Using tracking systems to ensure timely deliveries and troubleshooting any delays or issues.
- Compliance: Ensuring all logistics activities comply with regulations such as import/export laws, transportation rules, and environmental standards.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving any logistical challenges such as inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, or transportation issues, and implementing corrective actions.
