Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales for the dubizzle Property Vertical
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meeting, and indirect methods such as networking, social selling to clients within the assigned territory
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales within the territory
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Draft and deliver proposals
  • Report on sales activity
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time period
  • Work with the Marketing department to plan and execute generation campaigns
  • Consult with sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve company branding and reputation
  • Provide feedback to Company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace



Requirements

  • Sales experience in an online Classifieds or internet company
  • Energetic and assertive with a strong presence
  • Persuasive with strong communication skills to initiate, negotiate and close business
  • Tactful and smart to handle client objections and present solutions and options to close sales
  • Articulate and well versed with making presentations and sales pitches to prospective and existing clients
  • Positive relationship building skills - cultivates and nurtures customer relations
  • Competitive attitude with a hunger to succeed in all situations
  • Result orientated with problem solving skills to resolve challenges through creative and flexible options in line with the Company's overall targets
  • Good analytical skills to understand clients business needs and provide adequate marketing solutions
  • Should possess strong business acumen along with a quick mind to assimilate information from many channels and create strategic alternatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English

Desired candidate profile

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Retention: Regularly check in with clients to ensure their needs are met, and proactively address any concerns to maintain satisfaction and reduce churn.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, helping to resolve issues, complaints, or concerns that may arise regarding products or services.

2. Sales Growth and Development

  • Identifying New Opportunities: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue. Proactively present additional products or services that will benefit the client.
  • Account Expansion: Seek opportunities for expanding the scope of work or introducing new services to grow existing accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Work with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales within key accounts.

3. Managing Account Performance

  • Account Monitoring: Regularly review the performance and needs of each account, ensuring that they are receiving the expected value from the product or service.
  • Sales Forecasting: Monitor the performance of assigned accounts, track sales goals, and forecast future sales potential and revenue growth.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding account status, progress on sales goals, and key metrics.

4. Contract Management and Negotiation

  • Renewals and Negotiations: Manage contract renewals, ensuring clients are satisfied with terms and conditions. Negotiate terms of contracts, renewals, and service agreements to ensure long-term commitments.
  • Customizing Solutions: Tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of individual clients, ensuring that their requirements are addressed and that they perceive significant value.

5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure that clients' needs are met, and that the organization is aligned in delivering optimal results.
  • Feedback and Insights: Share valuable feedback from clients with internal teams to improve product offerings, customer service, and the overall customer experience.

6. Client Onboarding and Training

  • Client Onboarding: Assist new clients in getting started with the product or service, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and that they are set up for success.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and guidance on product usage, ensuring clients understand how to fully utilize the product or service to achieve their goals.

7. Negotiating and Closing Deals

  • Sales Closing: Be involved in closing new business opportunities or renewals with existing clients, ensuring that terms are agreed upon and contracts are signed.
  • Proposal Creation: Prepare and deliver proposals to clients, outlining how your company's solutions will address their specific needs.
  • Deal Structuring: Work with clients to structure deals and packages that align with their needs while achieving company revenue goals.
