Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing restaurant staffs work schedules
- Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
- Monitoring the restaurants cash flow and settling outstanding bills
- Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Oversee all front and back of the house restaurant operations
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Receive complaints and resolve problems
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
- Ensure that all checklists requisitions and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff.
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
- Ensure staffing levels for all outlets are accurate based Event and business needs.
- To carry out all the roles and responsibilities of the junior level as and when required.
Prerequisites
- Graduate in Hospitality Travel and Tourism or Hotel Management
- 35 years of minimum experience in a restaurant or related industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role within a restaurant or hotel
- Fluent in English (Speaking Reading Wiring)
