Responsibilities will include helping define key business segments & clusters to target, establishing relationships with brand owners, and drive interactions with these companies in order to build long-term business opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience, capable of engaging with diverse contacts to effectively communicate Amazon's value proposition, capability to influence external stakeholders, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision and comfortable working across multiple complex functions. The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems, and processes and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions.
Key job responsibilities
- Seller recruitment by engaging and influencing senior executives of strategic international brands
- Drive the seller onboarding process with focus on prospecting, pitching, negotiation and objection handling
- Understand products and services offered by Amazon and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.
- Collaborate with internal on-boarding teams to effectively expand international brands into India
- Work with key internal stakeholders to set priorities and develop category targets that underpin category strategy
- Review and monitor performance and sales of key sellers to manage their performance
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience influencing C-level executives
