    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and incorporate them into the project schedule.
    • Track risks throughout the project lifecycle and update the risk management plan to reflect new or evolving risks.
  4. Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Monitor the ongoing progress of the project against the planned schedule and milestones.
    • Generate regular status reports that highlight any discrepancies, delays, or issues.
    • Provide accurate forecasts for project completion and any adjustments needed to meet deadlines.
    • Identify and resolve any issues that may arise to ensure project stays on track.
  5. Coordination and Communication:

    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all teams are aligned with the project’s goals and timelines.
    • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding the project’s status, including any challenges, delays, or adjustments.
    • Lead and facilitate planning meetings to discuss progress, resource allocation, and potential concerns.
  6. Budget Management and Control:

    • Work closely with the Cost Engineer or Project Manager to ensure that the project stays within budget.
    • Track costs and analyze the impact of schedule changes on project finances.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent cost overruns caused by scheduling issues.
  7. Change Management:

    • Assess the impact of scope changes or new requirements on the project schedule.
    • Update project schedules to accommodate changes, ensuring that all changes are communicated to the project team and stakeholders.
    • Work with the Change Control Board (CCB) to document and approve any schedule changes.
  8. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all scheduling and planning activities meet the organization’s quality standards.
    • Conduct quality checks on schedules, reports, and documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of quality control procedures to improve planning accuracy.
