Key Responsibilities of a Financial Controller

Desired candidate profile
The Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with the Assistant Director of Finance/ Cluster Director of Finance to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist the Financial Controller r in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with financial audits and payroll related activities.
- Provide support to other departments regarding financial matters.
- Supervise and train finance department staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
