Roles and responsibilities
You will make your mark as accountant at our Abu Dhabi branch office. You will be part of our finance shared service centre (FSSC), Supporting Administration worldwide in the various area of Accounts.
You will be working from our Abu Dhabi office and will be part of our Abu Dhabi finance team, consisting of around 75 people from different backgrounds. You will be involved in processes from record to record, procurement to pay, master data and other general finance related tasks.
Your Responsibilities As An Accountant Are
- Assisting projects in Asia by providing finance support.
- Managing all financial transactions, from record to report.
- Invoice processing, checking, and cost coding.
- Liaise with various business units and project sites to providing continuous support.
- Making specifications, reconciliations, and analysis on various aspects in the accounts.
- Monthly or quarterly management reporting.
Your qualities
You can make your mark as accountant if you have:
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational company, multicultural environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, a master’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin both written and verbal.
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning Software (preferred Infor LN, Basware & Vena).
- Strong analytical skills and able to analysis work processes and suggest improvements.
- Proactive in suggesting changes for improvement and confident to speak up to management if necessary.

Financial Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Record and classify daily financial transactions.

- Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic management reports to support decision-making.

- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets.
- Provide financial forecasts to guide organizational planning.

Tax Preparation and Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and advise management on tax planning.

Auditing and Reconciliation:
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and discrepancies in financial records.

Cost Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis.

Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
