As a Sales Executive - MICE you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility under the general guidance and supervision. The role involves generating and maintaining customers of defined accounts and areas through sales activities like face to face sales calls, telephone calls or entertainment and will include key responsibilities such as-
- Handle all MICE RFP assigned by Sales Manager or Director of Sales - MICE
- Maintain MICE generating accounts through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, sight inspections, entertainment) jointly with Accounts Manager
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
- Solicit and serve transient and group business and meetings
- Maximize up selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities suitable and complimenting to the MICE booking
- Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies
- Communicate the final details of all confirmed bookings to the Sales Manager - MICE for the contract to be prepared and obtain client’s signature on booking contract in a prompt way
- Maintain and update the sales & catering - PMS as per company standards
- Obtain client feedback after each event verbally and through ‘Thank You’ letter and ‘Guest Questionnaire’ and communicate the outcome to the concerned
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be holding preferably a degree in sales and minimum two years post graduate work experiences in a similar position. Good computer skills and a perfect command of English is a must.

- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads for the company’s products and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and contribute to the business’s growth.
- Meet or exceed sales goals through proactive outreach to potential clients, such as businesses, corporations, event planners, travel agents, and individual customers.
- Build a robust pipeline of leads and convert them into successful sales through effective communication and negotiation.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term business growth.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
- Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and guide clients through the booking or purchase process, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Develop personalized packages for clients based on their needs, including room rates, catering, and other hotel services.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends, and emerging opportunities in the market.
- Analyze competitors and adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company’s offerings and highlighting the unique selling points.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals.
- Ensure all agreements and contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.

Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, front desk, food and beverage, event planning) to ensure a seamless experience for clients and successful execution of their needs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding client preferences, competitors’ activities, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that sales promises (e.g., specific room configurations, catering services) are delivered to clients’ satisfaction.

Client Events and Corporate Accounts:
- Manage corporate accounts and large clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible service.
- Organize and attend client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other events to generate leads and promote services.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key corporate clients and industry influencers to secure repeat business and long-term contracts.

Reporting and Administrative Duties:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, detailing sales performance, leads, and future opportunities.
- Track and maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities using CRM software.
- Provide updates and reports to the Sales Manager or Director on performance against targets and key metrics.

Sales Strategy Development:
- Participate in the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns to promote services and boost sales.
- Identify potential promotional opportunities and work with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns.
