Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and dynamic female Emirati Art Teacher to join our prestigious school in Al Ain teaching students in Grades 3 to 9. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering creativity developing artistic skills and inspiring students to express themselves through various forms of art. As an Art Teacher you will guide students in exploring their artistic abilities promoting an appreciation for the arts and ensuring a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lesson Planning and Delivery:
   

   • Develop and deliver engaging ageappropriate lesson plans focused on various artistic disciplines such as drawing painting sculpture and digital art.
     
   • Teach students the fundamentals of art including color theory design principles and the techniques associated with different art forms.
     
   • Integrate art history lessons introducing students to famous artists and cultural influences.
     

2. Classroom Management:
   

   • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe motivated and inspired to express their creativity.
     
   • Maintain discipline while promoting a collaborative and respectful classroom atmosphere.
     
   • Ensure that the classroom is organized clean and wellequipped with the necessary art supplies.
     

3. Student Development and Assessment:
   

   • Monitor and assess students progress through individual and group projects providing constructive feedback.
     
   • Encourage selfexpression and help students develop their own artistic style and voice.
     
   • Provide timely assessments and communicate students progress to parents and school leadership.
     

4. Creativity and Exploration:
   

   • Create opportunities for students to experiment with different art materials and techniques.
     
   • Guide students to explore their creative potential and encourage risktaking in their artistic endeavors.
     
   • Organize and supervise art exhibitions displays and presentations of student work.
     

5. Curriculum Enhancement:
   

   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the art curriculum to ensure it is aligned with educational standards and promotes creativity.
     
   • Incorporate culturally relevant art themes and techniques into lesson plans that reflect the local heritage and global perspectives.
     

6. Collaboration and School Involvement:
   

   • Work closely with other faculty members to create interdisciplinary projects that combine art with subjects like history science and language arts.
     
   • Participate in school events such as exhibitions workshops and extracurricular activities related to art and creativity.
     
   • Attend meetings parentteacher conferences and professional development sessions as required.
     

7. Health and Safety:
   

   • Ensure students use art materials and equipment in a safe manner.
     
   • Adhere to the schools health and safety policies to maintain a secure environment for both students and teachers.
     

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education:
  

  • A Bachelor s degree in Art Education Fine Arts or a related field.
    
  • A teaching certification (preferred) or relevant credentials.
    

• Experience:
  

  • Previous (3 to 5 years teaching experience) in art at the elementary school level (Grades 39) is preferred.
    
  • Experience with a range of artistic techniques including traditional and contemporary methods.
    

• Skills:
  

  • Strong artistic skills in various forms of art including drawing painting and sculpture.
    
  • Ability to design and implement creative engaging lesson plans.
    
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and guide students of varying abilities.
    
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
    
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a teamoriented environment.
