Bartender Team Management and Leadership:
- Supervising Bartenders and Bar Staff: Manage and lead the bartending team, ensuring that each member follows bar protocols, provides excellent customer service, and works efficiently.
- Training and Development: Provide training for new bartenders, ensuring they are familiar with drink recipes, bar procedures, and customer service standards. Offer ongoing coaching and performance reviews.
- Scheduling: Create work schedules for bartenders, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during busy periods, special events, or high-traffic hours.

Drink Preparation and Service:
- Crafting Cocktails: Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, both classic cocktails and original drinks, following standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintaining Drink Quality: Ensure drinks are served to the highest standard in terms of taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction. Adjust recipes or make recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Speed and Efficiency: Work efficiently during high-demand hours, ensuring customers are served quickly without compromising quality.

Customer Interaction and Service:
- Providing Exceptional Service: Interact with customers to ensure they have a positive experience, offering friendly and professional service. Address any concerns or special requests.
- Handling Complaints: Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Building Customer Relationships: Engage with regular customers and new patrons, remembering their preferences, and creating a welcoming environment.

Inventory and Stock Management:
- Inventory Control: Monitor bar stock levels, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and equipment. Order supplies as needed and ensure that inventory is accurately recorded.
- Stock Rotation: Ensure that items are used in the correct order to avoid waste or spoilage, particularly for perishable items like fruit or herbs.
- Cost Control: Help manage bar costs by minimizing waste, ensuring proper portioning, and keeping track of liquor usage.

Health, Safety, and Legal Compliance:
- Alcohol Laws and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and serving of alcohol, including checking IDs to prevent underage drinking and monitoring intoxicated customers.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and countertops. Ensure that sanitation standards are adhered to, especially in handling food items or garnishes.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure the bar is a safe environment for both customers and staff by enforcing safety measures and emergency procedures.

- Maintaining Bar Setup: Ensure that the bar is properly stocked and organized before opening, during service, and at closing. This includes preparing garnishes, organizing tools, and ensuring everything is in its place.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition of bar equipment, such as blenders, mixers, taps, and refrigerators. Coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Desired candidate profile
As a Head Bartender at Sea Fire Steak House, you will be preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar and restaurant. You will be responsible for crafting original beverage menu items and creation of an exciting new menu. In this role you will need to ensure that you always anticipate the needs of the guest, working closely with service teams, ensuring that sanitation and safety standards are always followed and maintained.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in luxury restaurants or hotels, having worked at this level for at least 2 years in a similar role. You must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, manage multiple tasks and have confidence in dealing with a diverse set of clienteles.
