Supporting Servers
- Assisting with Food Delivery: Helping servers deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring that orders are accurate and complete.
- Refilling Drinks: Assisting with refilling water glasses, beverages, and other drinks during the meal.
- Running Food: Carrying trays of food to tables, ensuring the presentation and temperature are appropriate, and ensuring guests’ needs are met.

Prepping and Setting Up the Dining Area
- Setting Tables: Ensuring that tables are properly set up with the correct number of utensils, glasses, napkins, and condiments before guests arrive.
- Cleaning Tables: Clearing and cleaning tables between guests, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Restocking Supplies: Assisting with restocking service areas, including replenishing condiments, silverware, napkins, and glassware.

Guest Assistance
- Greeting Guests: Welcoming guests to the dining area, assisting with seating, and ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.
- Taking Drink Orders: In some cases, assisting servers by taking drink orders or small orders like appetizers, and communicating them to the kitchen or bar.
- Answering Questions: Assisting guests by answering simple questions about the menu, ingredients, or specials under the guidance of the server or manager.

Supporting the Kitchen and Back-of-House Operations
- Assisting with Food Preparation: In some establishments, assistant servers may help in the back of house with food preparation or garnishing dishes before they are sent out to guests.
- Clearing and Bussing Dishes: Clearing dirty plates and glasses from tables, bringing them back to the kitchen or dishwashing area, and resetting the table for the next set of guests.
- Organizing and Maintaining the Service Area: Ensuring that the service station is well-stocked and organized, helping to keep the kitchen and dining areas running smoothly.

Providing Excellent Customer Service
- Ensuring Guest Satisfaction: Making sure guests’ dining experience is smooth by assisting with any needs or requests, such as extra napkins, condiments, or assistance with their orders.
- Responding to Requests: Promptly addressing any guest requests, ensuring that the needs of diners are met quickly and efficiently.
- Working with Servers and Other Staff: Communicating clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Assisting with Closing Duties
- Closing Tables: Helping to clear and clean tables at the end of a shift, and resetting them for the next service.
- Cleaning Work Areas: Assisting with cleaning and sanitizing the service areas, restocking supplies for the next shift, and ensuring everything is in place for the next service.
Desired candidate profile
- You’ll be responsible for doing all preparations before and during service, like preparing serving cutlery and breadbaskets.
- You’ll coordinate the orders in a way that everything goes out to the guests in an efficient and timely matter.
- You’ll have full knowledge of Food & Beverage Menu items to assist guests and waiting staff where needed.
- You’ll assist in clearance of tables during and after service.
- You’ll responsible for cleaning tasks during and after service.
- You’ll help to draw up budgets, and keep a business-like eye on orders .
- You are a competent and open-minded contact and sparring partner for our external concept partner.
- You’ll support your colleagues with a winning smile whenever, once again, all the guests pile into the restaurant and want to order at the same time. On top of this, you’ll also keep your head above water when there are sudden changes of plan.
Qualifications

- You’ve gained management experience in a similar role, and can speak English fluently
- You can inspire your fellow staff just as you can inspire your guests. On top of this you find it easy to communicate with charm, even if it’s sometimes tricky
- You’re passionate about good food and drinks, and enjoy discovering new concepts
- You’re a doer – and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it
